Lee McClure founded the Eclectix Chamber Orchestra that has presented over 130 living composers. The New York Times recognized Eclectix as "dedicated to presenting melodic music in the tradition of Debussy, Gershwin, and Ellington." Conductor JoAnn Falletta described Lee’s Symphony No.1 as “a really beautiful work!”. Two of Lee’s major electric flute pieces are “Rock Adagio” & “Danse Nebulae.”
